Being an undergraduate student at UK you know that you have many resources at your disposal. There are many things on campus to keep students busy and help them get involved, but are those resources available to graduate students as well?
Rebecca Young, a graduate student in the College of Agriculture does not think so.

JEWISH STUDENT ASSOCIATION
JSA offers students an inside look at Judaism
Some religions are one in their own, some have basic similarities, and some share the core ideas but are different in every other aspect.
“Judaism and Christianity share the core text of the Old Testament, it lays out and focuses on the ethics of the religion,” said Karen Petrone, advisor for the Jewish Student Association and UK history professor.
Petrone said Judaism is a religion of laws. The religion places careful concern regarding human beings and that concern is placed at the center of the religion.

MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION
MSA opens their doors to all student
Free food seems to entice any student to come out for the evening, but some of the students at the Muslim Student Association say it is about more than just the free food it is about the chance to meet new people and be apart of a larger community of students.
“We are here to help each other,” said Yahya Ahmed, president of MSA.
Their goal is not to attempt to convert others but to educate them and form relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims.
The meeting started simply as a meet and great with the door flying open every five minutes to reveal five or six new faces. Old friends were catching up and new friendships were being made.

CHRISTIAN STUDENT FELLOWSHIP
Christian Student Fellowship offers community for students
Christian Student Fellowship has free food, some times, a Wii with a beautiful plasma screen TV to accompany it, a jar full of flavorful gum free for the taking, but more importantly, they have a community of college students who all have a common faith.
“Christian Student Fellowship is a place where anyone can come in and feel welcome and fit into the community,” said Matt Dampier, director of freshman ministries as CSF. “I want them to be challenged but feel welcomed.”
CSF has become a well-known place to college students because of the various programs they offer to college students at various levels of education and faith.
“We want CSF to live in and out of the deepest awareness that life is about a relationship with God and with others,” said Brian Marshall, campus minister at CSF.
